Memphis Pizza Cafe
A typical small-town pizzeria, oozing with warmth and friendliness, the Memphis Pizza Cafe could not have asked for a better location than Overton Square Entertainment District . Frequented by locals, teens and tourists alike, the District provides the cafe with a constant stream of customers. The cafe has done its bit in making sure that they keep returning, with its delicious thin-crust pizzas made with fresh dough and toppings. Besides pizza, it also serves sandwiches and calzones. The reasonably priced menu is equally responsible for its all-round popularity. And it's quite possible for you to grab a slice of their pizza outside Overton Square, as they have four other branches in Memphis.
I just ate here and the pizza was fair. The pizza was lacking in tomato sauce. The pizza tasted pretty bland. The Italian sausage tasted like breakfast sausage not true Italian sausage. The crust was crunchy though which I did like. The staff seemed nice. You can order online but they have to call you to confirm you order which makes ordering on line, pointless. I wouldn't order from here again.
I ATTEND SCHOOL IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA, MY FRIEND AND I WERE GETTING BURNT OUT ON THE FAST FOOD IN THE AREA...ITS ONLY SO MANY CHEESEBURGERS, NUGGETS AND FRIES YOU CAN EAT IN A LIFETIME. WE WERE JUST THROWING IDEAS IN THE AIR AND SHE SAID MEMPHIS PIZZA CAFE, I WAS A LITTLE WORRIED THAT I MIGHT NOT LIKE BUT I ENDED UP LOVING IT! THE STAFF IS VERY NICE AND THE FOOD IS GREAT. I RECCOMEND THE CAFE SUPREME WITH FRESH TOMATOES.
the pizza never disappoints. The service can be a little slow when they are crowded but that is to be expected. This is the best location though - it seems like the other locations can't get it together.
The Memphis Pizza Cafe is a funky hip kinda place with locations all across Memphis. The food is wonderful, and they are willing to do any kinda funky thing with pizza. The best value I have found is the Calzone. For around $6 you can add whatever you want to the calzone to make it your own. And did I mention that this thing is huge? It is so big that we have it cut in half and with a side salad, we leave stuffed! Try the cajun chicken and red onions, it is my favorite! Yummy!

Memphis' main museum is housed in a marble building completed in 1916. The architecturally beautiful rooms house an outstanding collection

The burgers are definitely big and juicy, but many customers are drawn by the deep fried onion rings and mushrooms,
the live music on Sunday afternoons, and the late evening hours. If you are looking for something besides burgers, ...
