Arcade Restaurant, Memphis

The food was delicious, the setting was fantastic. Good down home cooking at a reasonable price!

We liked this place a lot. The service and food was great. The history was interesting. Would go back if in the area again.

If there is only one place to visit in Memphis THIS IS IT! Sweet Potato Pancakes are my fave, but their pizza AND their burgers are also amazing. You can't go wrong here!

I had heard great things about this place before trying it. However, I was not impressed. The food and service were okay but not exceptional like I had heard. It's a cute aptmosphere but the service was VERY slow and the food was just standard, nothing to great. It's not on the top of my list to try again.

The Arcade has been in M-town for YEARS, is family-owned, and most native Memphians have never heard of it. It's on South Main Street, which has recently been booming with business and condos, so I anticipate that the place will have (if it hasn't already) a big revival. The exterior and interior is classic diner, complete with vinyl booths and a gorgeous light-up sign. The menu's great, offering diner classics, as well as pizza. The food always tastes very fresh and well prepared, but the pizza is most impressive for a diner. My favorite is the Ms. Pollly's Greek Lover. However, it also boasts awesome breakfast. I especially enjoy the French toast. Price is good, staff is friendly, and it's an overall great place to go for a meal...even if it's just for the history and surroundings!

I guess I should have ordered breakfast. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and it took quite awhile to get it. I assumed it was because there was a good crowd. When I got my order, there on the bun under a slice of processed cheese, was a piece of what appeared to be charcoal. I returned it and was brought a more edible burger, and the waitress did remove the charge from our bill. My husband had a turkey sub which was good. I would not recommend The Arcade for lunch or dinner. The breakfast (which most people were ordering) seemed to be better.

Great Cheeseburger and fries. Well worth your time and money. The Arcade is located on the south part of Main. The area is booming with shops and clothing stores. I am a native Memphian, and I even enjoy going down there. Close to Beale also.

The atmosphere is great, the service was great! My little boy and I eat here a lot. We love it. The hashbrowns are awesome! I especially like the sweet potato pancakes. Go... you'll enjoy it.
