Fino's Italian Grocery, Memphis

Easily my favorite deli in any city that I can think of. I go back every time I return to Memphis. Everything I've tasted is good, although I usually order the New York or vegetarian sub.

I used to eat at this shop daily. I haven't been in Memphis since I graduated from optometry school in 1998. My wife and I are planning a trip to Memphis and one of our main objectives is to visit Fino's for one of those sandwhiches we crave all the time. I mostly had the new yorker, I hope they still make it. I just absolutely love the bread. The best sandwhich shop I've ever found.

Without a doubt the best sandwiches in Memphis! This Italian deli makes sandwiches for $5.50 ($3.25 for half, which is big enough for a meal itself) with wonderful imported Italian meats and cheeses, olive salad, tomato onion dressing, etc. Not your ordinary sandwich place. As a native Memphian, this small, family-run deli is one of my favorite places to eat. The only drawback is the hours (closed sun/mon, and closes early around 6:30pm).

This place is fantastic! The sandwiches are great and BIG. The daily specials are always different and tasty. The soups are excellent and everything is homemade. The Italian wedding soup is just one of the daily soup specials you might be tempted by. Everything I've tried has been outstanding and it's all run by family and they will treat you like you a part of that family. You can also browse the aisles for hard to find Italian ingredients or pick up some frozen raviolis to take home. You'll LOVE this place...

Italian meats and cheeses just as good as The Hill in St. Louis. Great sandwiches and pasta and some Italian grocery items. One of my favorites for almost 15 years. VERY reasonable prices.

Fino's is great. Everything they make is execelent.
