Flying Saucer Draught Emporium
The food here is designed to complement the beer. Appetizers include the Beer Cheese Soup, hot tamales, sausage quesadillas, sausage and cheese plates, while sandwiches fill out the menu. One of the rooms contains a large bar and wooden tables and chairs, and the other room has pool tables and a sports-bar atmosphere. The most popular place to eat and drink is on the wrap-around patio at the windows. Cigar smoking is encouraged on the patio, and the restaurant offers a cigar list. The restaurant features live music on weekends and is in the heart of the tourist district, so there are usually plenty of chances for people-watching.

Decent food (not world class - but very good bar food).
Trivia on Tuesday night.
Beers from around the world. True character in downtown Memphis. I don't know if Aquanet still plays there or not, but they used to when I lived there. They will bring down the house!! Beer and rock n roll - what else is there?!
Lived in downtown Memphis for 2 years and this was my place.
It was my bar...loved everyting about it!
Have even gone back when visiting friends in the Bluff City.
I wish we could bring it up here in IL.
I love this place, when I am in Memphis I make it a point to go here.
I love the roll up window seating right at the street so you can watch and communicate with everyone out and about. It is very close to Beale street and the service is incredible.
If you get the chance to stop here order an Irish car bomb and try the soft pretzels!
I love this place. Great beer....good food. Oh...did I mention great beer? Oh yea...and did I mention nearly a hundred beers on tap along with a beer list just over 200. It's a happy place. I think that 1/3 of the whole 20 something crowd of memphis is here each night.

selection of beer in the old, dark wood interior and with Irish memorabilia on the walls. Live music on ...

the live music on Sunday afternoons, and the late evening hours. If you are looking for something besides burgers, ...

late night bowl of chili. The gumbo has won many local awards, but some people may find it overly ...
