Chao Praya Restaurant, Memphis

This is a cute little place a couple miles away from where I work so I, along with many of my coworkers, frequent this place several times a week. (I actually go there so often that the servers bring me an ice tea the second I sit down!) Their food, is excellent. The flavors in their dishes are so different from anything else in town, with exotic herbs like lemongrass and galangha. At least once a week I will try their daily special, and most of the time they are very good. My personal favorite is the chicken Panang curry. The service is friendly and very timely. In general the restaurant is cozy, not too big, not too small, with interesting artifacts decorating the interior. My verdict is, if you haven't been to Chao Praya yet, you have to give it a try. You will not be disappointed!
