I ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The food was not very good. I got the veal parmesan. The veal was cooked nice and crispy but the spaghetti was bland and tasteless. The bread was cold and tasted like it came out of a bag. Even Olive Garden heats their bread.
I have always hated their pizza. The other food they serve is average. And yes the customer service at the South Parkway location is horrible. My mom had to wait over an hour for $40 worth of pizza and they claimed they had forgot to make her order.
I GREW UP IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT THIS LOCATION IS AND MY FAMILY HAVE ALWAYS GONE TO COLETTAS. MY UNCLE, FRED HILL STARTED THIS OFF AND THE PIZZA IS GREAT. I RESIDE IN CHICAGO AND EVRYTHIME I COME HOME I GO TO COLETTAS AND GET MY AROUND THE WORLD, UM GD!!
I thought Coletta's was the best pizza I had ever ate until one day I was at the one on South Parkway, and a rat shot across my foot. I was so disgusted. Then they had the nerve to kill it in front of us. Now I will say that I have been to the one on Appling Road and it was much cleaner, and way nicer than the one in South memphis. They should rebuild the one in South Memphis.
What a big disappointment. What Italian in their right mind puts American Cheese in an Antipasto plate or salad? How about some real butter with the bread? Country Spread doesn't cut it with this half-Italian boy. How about a veal cutlet with the Veal Parmigiana - veal patty???
Finally...the garlic bread tasted of garlic powder.
All in all...an Italian restaurant an Italian or Italian-American would turn their nose up at.
This is the most awesome restaurant ever. I would go back more than any other place. The service is the best and the people are nicer then anywhere else in Memphis. My mom and dad are regular customers, and I go there as much as possible. Thank you.

The burgers are definitely big and juicy, but many customers are drawn by the deep fried onion rings and mushrooms,
the live music on Sunday afternoons, and the late evening hours. If you are looking for something besides burgers, ...
