I found this place scouting for a film. A favorite of certain singer that 'puts his junk in a box'.' WAY off the beaten track, but if you crave good, original barbecue its worth the trek. The owner smokes his ribs and pork on a oil drum grill just outside the deli, which is really just a neighborhood 'sundry' store with a lunch counter.
When I was asked if I wanted the regular or jumbo size sandwich I seemed uncertain, so the owner brought me regular-otherwise he said, he'd have to 'bring me pillow.'
I asked for the 'hot' barbecue sauce and didn't regret it. I've sampled a lot of good barbecue, and this was some of the best.
