Littons Review
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/5/10
Littons Restaurant has been around for a very long time now. The bacon cheeseburger is one of the most mouth watering burgers there; and if you have room for desert the strawberry cheesecake will satisfy your sweet tooth. Littons employee's are very polite and dress very nice. As you walk into the restaurant, they welcome you and make you feel at home. They're number one goal is to satisfy their customers and I believe they do a terrific job! Although their entree's are a little pricey, it is worth the money, and the best part about it, is that it is located right across the street from the Fountain City Park so if you are ever taking a walk around stop by Littons and eat one of the most amazing hamburgers you've ever tasted.

Do not know what all the fuss is about Litton's? You get an average tasting burger for a full price. Would much rather go to Scotts Place on Asheville Hwy and get a HUGE and GREAT tasting burger for half the price.

My family visited Litton's as part of a very large group. There were 30 of us in all for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Making matters worse, we called Litton's on the way there to let them know. They didn't have days to prepare for our large group. At max, they had about half an hour. Even with the short notice, nothing could have run smoother. We were seated together in a back room. The servers were top notch. Food was served at relatively the same time and it was hot when it arrived. Refills were prompt. Food quality was excellent. We'll definitely be back to Litton's Restaurant. Only next time, it'll be 2 of us instead of 30.

Litton's Market & Restaurant is heaven for meat and cakes
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/26/09
Littons market is said to be the place to eat hamburgers. and come saturday, the place is buzzing with UT Knoxville fans in orange shirts. Apart from hamburgers, the cakes are heavenly.

Litton's Market and Restaurant is down-home eating at it's best!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/9/09
Most wonderful cheese burger in town. They top a huge hamburger pattie with pimento and cheese and glazed onions and the whole goop drips out of the bun when you try to eat it. You sop up the pimento and cheese drippings with their great french fries and top the meal with their divine desserts! FYI....it is a hectic home style atmosphere so be prepared for a long wait and harried service. Still worth a long drive across town to dine in this historical eatery!

Try the desserts!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/28/09
The food here is good; the service is normally just okay. The desserts alone make this a trip worth making. Litton's Red Velvet Cake could bring about world peace.

Good food, city eating icon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/29/08
The place is where everyone talks about here in Knoxville. The food was good the service fair. The handicapped access to the restrooms was really poor. I rarely eat there and stay long because of this issue.

Yum! I have been eating at Litton's for many years, but it seems I rarely get anything new. I always get the chili dog (best anywhere), sometimes get the grilled pimento cheese or Roadrunner (burger with pimento cheese), and never fail to get onion rings. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! Oh, and the service is great, too!

If you want a good burger Litton's is the place for you! They have great food period! The homemade desserts are to die for! This place is somewhere you have to stop if you are visiting! The staff is friendly and the service is great. Be prepared for a wait, but it is well worth it!!!
