Monterrey Mexican Restaurant, Greeneville

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Every time I'm in Greeneville, I make sure to come, and always order the Pollo Picoso. It's also a favorite haunt of The Band Perry, which probably should speak to the quality of the food that they continue to come regularly.

Bland salsa (like tomato sauce mixed with tomato paste), unseasoned rice , refried beans had no flavor added, meat in burrito was just chopped hamburger with no added anything.........i mean do people really like everything mild around there and they are just catering to the needs of the spiceless tastebuds or they not have a clue how other mexican restaurants do business?/ i really had trouble understanding how people had good things to say in the reviews on here......i don't think we just happened to be there the same day the flavorings were confiscated!!

Go to Cancun it is way better!!! a little cheaper than monterrey!! monterrey is more crowded and cancun is less people and always fast service

Monterrey, in The Commons is awesome...food,service,atmosphere.Not only do I frequent with family but also order out from job,with coworkers often.We love the place...

The food at the Town Square location was really good and the prices were reasonable.The service was also very good

This location is good but there is another location and it is better. The other Monterrey's is located in the town square shopping center and for some reason their food is better. Try them both and decide for yourself.

If you want authentic Mexican food, then this is the place to go. The food is great and it is a fun atmosphere to enjoy a meal. You get great service and the portions are generous for the price.
