Cherokee Grill, Gatlinburg

AMAZING in every way!! The chicken tortizza appetizer was unique and tasty; the cheese stuffed steak was the best steak I've ever eaten; the blue cheese grits were surprisingly delectable; the atmosphere was clean, classy and modern yet cozy as well; the service was top notch. I LOVED my experience from start to finish!!

Ate here on Monday after Thanksgiving, ordered the roasted chicken, sandwich and was served left-over turkey, there is a definite difference between taste of chicken and turkey. The server was friendly the atmosphere nice, will give it another try, just not after Thanksgiving, lol. Another friend got steak, tasted it, very good.

My husband and I along with our son daughter in law and two year old and one year old grandsons found this restaurant on our last night in Gatlinburg. This was on a saturday evening in July and we were seated immediately. The temperature was wonderful compared to some of the other restaurants we ate at earlier during our stay. The service was excellent and the food was wonderful...large portions so much so we had to take it with us. Yes it cost a little more but was definitely worth every penny. The server even made our grandsons a special drink and brought extra cherries and limes for them to nibble on while we waited. Everything from the appetizers to the dinners to the drinks and bread all great....can't wait to go back again....

Excellent food, excellent service! Try the steak stuffed with cheese...the most expensive thing on the menu-and well worth it!

One of the finest restraunts I have had the pleasure to visit.The food was fantastic as well as the staff and atmosphere.When you eat here you will come back every time you are in town.A must visit...No diisapointment's here

After having a meal the night before, at another restaurant, that was burned and tastless, our dinner at Cherokee Grill was utterly fantastic and a delightful surprise. We were seated immediately and were shown a table near the fireplace. We had perused the menu prior to arriving, but still had difficulty choosing between seafood, steaks and more! We chose a starter of spinach and artichoke dip and it arrived with sour cream and salsa, both of which added to the dip itself. I ordered a Mojito, made with mint and lime and it was fantastic; every sip was perfection. My husband and I both ordered the ribeye steaks and when they arrived his was a little rare. There was no problem in cooking it a bit more and when returned to the table was just to his taste. We both ordered rice as a starch and while he had macaroni and cheese with spinach which was very good, I had broccolli which was fresh and perfectly cooked. Admittedly, we visited in January, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Still, one might expect a dip in service or quality and we found none. Parking was easy and free, if you showed your restaurant receipt. Given the nightmare that parking in Gatlinburg can be, that's a deal, if you ask me. Sadly, my husband and I are leaving for Texas in a few weeks, or we'd go back, as we currently live in the area. The prices are not McDonald's size but every penny is well worth the cost. If you're in Gatlinburg and looking for an elegant restaurant with delightful food, try the Cherokee Grill. You'll be very glad you did. We were.

This was not our best choice of restaurants during our Gatlingburg trip, but it was an ok meal. Very basic food, with no flair whatsoever. Service was not great. We wont revisit.

We are in Gatlinburg 3-4 times a year and we go to Cherokee every visit. The steaks are always awesome.

The first time we ate there, we had their special Imperial steak. A strip steak stuffed with crab meat. It was to die for! Unfortunately, they have never had it again while we were there. They also have the BEST avocado ranch dressing in the nation! I always buy some and take it home with us. The atmosphere is great and the price is comparable to all other steak places in Gatlinburg.

Excellent: Better steaks than The Peddler and cheaper. We always went to The Peddler restaurant before finding this place. They have a wide variety and really great specials. The garlic cheese toast is to die for and the B&W chili is my favorite!!
