A hidden gem-
I originally bypassed this restaurant to try a few of the more highly reviewed placed. After much trepadition I ventured inside The Plum Tree. This hidden oasis may have slightly understated decor but the interior fountains and the slight hint of Asian formality makes this casual place seem like a welcoming retreat. They boast an expansive menu of many style of Chinese cuisine- Hunan, Cantonese, even a bit of Mandarin but each dish is prepared so beautifully that if you got something you didn't like, you probably didn't bother to read the item's description. For those who are budget concious, the menu also offers a choice of fourteen combination dinners; all of which include, entree, soup, eggroll or springroll, fried or steamed rice, fortune cookie and hot or iced tea.
Final note- Despite the open floorplan and corner location of the building, this is a gem waiting to be uncovered.
