Red Pig Bar-B-Q, Johnson City

THIS IS THE BEST BBQ EVER!!!!! we was at bristol last year enjoying a nascar packed weekend and we stayed in a hotel in johnson city. we were out one day looking for something to eat & we was wanting something different then what we have around the house. we drove by the Red Pig and stoped in. We love the food and their very friendly. If you are in johnson city stop at The Red Pig!!!. we are going back to the races again in march and allready have planed to eat their again.

Red Pig is where we take everyone who visits and wants BBQ. It is absolutely the real E. TN deal. The BBQ is tender and not dry, and the sauces are delicious. I always have a salad, which is huge, and comes with a generous helping of meat. A real treat.

i absolutely love the red pig! the staff is very friendly and the food is always excellent. not many people know that the red pig's menu has a wide variety of food other than bbq. the ribs are probably the best i have ever had. if you are a true southerner then you know the about sweet tea. if you havent tried red pigs you are missing out. best in the tricities if not the entire south. red pig is worth the wait and is a jc tradition. i recommend it to any one who has never tried it.

I absolutely LOVE the Red Pig...everytime I am in Johnson City I take a break to eat there. The food is wonderful and the owner is very friendly. If you are in the mood for authentic BBQ you need to visit the Pig!

We are a bunch of cops from Michigan and lord knows we are shy on good BBQ.there is not a place that is even close to the Red Pig. Diehard Nascar fans and every year we make a trip to the Red Pig. Vinager cole slaw ohhh my!! I wish the Red Pig was in Michigan. You all have enought BBQ in the south, can't ya help out a Michigander!! Fantastic see ya in August!
