Alta Cucina, Johnson City

I love Italian food, the quality , presentation, atmosphere, very polite and caring wait staff and best of all reasonable prices, I will be back, It was so good even though I would rather eat in but I am gonna take out every time I am passing by. I wished there were more businesses not to just try to rob you blind and actually let you get your monies worth, I specially recommend their veal.

I have visited Alta Cucina many times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. The ambiance is very soft and relaxing. Food is very good and service is terrific.

It's hard to judge a restaurant by just one visit, but that's all i am going to have to go on, since i am never coming back there again. We had a rehearsal dinner the night before out wedding there. There were a total of 10 of us. It all started out fairly nice. The appetizers were delicious. But it went down hill from there. We were waiting for over an hour for our entrees. We kept asking about it, and the waitress kept telling us it's coming out. Eventually, when we were ready to just walk out we started to get our food. Some of it was very good, however two of the meals were completely burned on the bottom of the plates, i am guessing from where they sat in the warmers for so long. My own meal, a special that night (grilled halibut), was completely cold and even if it was hot, it would still be nowhere close to being worth $25.00 price. it was very simple, something you could get at long john silvers. The burned plates belong to my future parents-in-law. They didn't eat anything the whole night because of it. My wife was upset and it completely ruined our evening. I highly recommend you take your business somewhere, in my opinion this place is not worth it.

best Italiano in the tri-cities, hands down, if not the surrounding area (Asheville, Knoxville, etc.) Have had many wonderful meals there, and the staff is consistently excellent, as well as the fare.

Consistently delicious. Always courteous, attentive service. My favorite Johnson City restaurant. My husband and I eat here once a week, and I celebrated my birthday here last week. Our favorite is the Chicken Marsala. The bread and dip is outstanding. If you haven't already been to this restaurant, then I certainly suggest you go. There is a special price menu for lunch, and dinner is well worth the cost.

Great place to eat; nice atmosphere & delicious food. I recommend the fried cheese appetizer (as a meal!). Desserts are great too. Probably my favorite restaurant in JC.

Wow! The best bread and marinara sauce I have ever had. The entrees are great as well. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing. This is my favorite Italian place in the world, and I've been all over.

Best place to eat in the Tri-Cities without a doubt. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful. The owner is very nice and hospitable everytime we go. It almost feels like eating at home.

Restaurants in Chicago, New York and San Fransico should take notes of Alta Cusina in Johnson City, TN. Wow. Best food. Romantic, Reasonable price for food and service. Owner, Moe, defintly has high standards in fine dining.
