What an absolute treat! From being seated to dessert, my husband and I could not have picked a better restaurant to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. The scallops are to die for..the veal was delicious..and the huckleberry creme brulee-yum! Thank you St. John's for a wonderful dinner!

Excellent food, but don't go there if you are hungry. I had a $29.00 halibut with vegetables. It looked like two toasted marshmallows on top of a table spoon of vegies. I asked for the house wine and was charged $11.95 for one glass. I like good food and I don't mind paying for it. But, I didn't go there to pay more for the chef's talent than the serving of food. I went there to eat. I had to go to another restaurant afterward to get a full meal. It was a rip off.

St John's Restaurant is world class

A hometown chef who learned from the best in New York City. The food is fresh, often local, and the chef has an amazing talent for food combinations.

Excellent food, creative, differnet and unique. Nothing like it in Chattanooga. Good fine dining. Resaonably priced wine and good cocktails at the bar. Highly recommended and may be the best place in Chattanooga for fine dining.

St. Johns has excellent food and is one of the more formal dining experiences in chattanooga. the food lives up to the atmosphere so I was extremely happy with the experience. next door is The Meeting Place a less formal but still fine dining space with food put out by the same kitchen as St. Johns. Both places have great high end food.

Chattanooga's top romantic, fine dining restaurant. The menu changes seasonally and emphasizes locally sourced ingredients as interpreted by chef, Daniel Lindley. Set in the historic St. John's building with flawless, friendly service, top flight wine list and always spot on food. Do not miss the foie gras, seared scallops with grapefruit, vanilla bean and salsify or heirloom tomatoes with parmesan cheese souffle.

My wife and I had dinner at St. John's to celebrate our anniversary. It's housed further down Market Street than I usually go, but the trip was definitely worth the wait. After being recommended highly by my wife's friend, and also my brother-in-law, I had to visit to see if it was as wonderful as they suggested. For our first course, my wife had Corn Stuffed Raviolis, topped with cherry tomatoes and lump crab meat...which was delicious, and I had the Corn and White Bean Soup, which is topped with lobstermeat. For the main course, my wife and I each had the Kobe Beef Zabuton Steak, topped with a pepper relish, placed atop creamy potatoes...it was fantastic. The only problem we had - we were too full for dessert!

My Husband and I went to Chattanooga to celebrate a long awaited Master's Degree. The meal at ST. John's was by far the BEST meal I have ever had. I litterally took at least a half an hour to eat my entree as I savored absolutely Every bite. And the sevice was absolutely impeccable. (Ryan was our waiter). If you are in the Chattanooga area You MUST eat at St. John's.
