The veal was below average. Best part of the meal was the salad and that was average. Server was great, but why pay $17 for soggy eggplant and veal that's had the taste pounded out of it. ps - The bread was ok, but they drown it in oil.

Honestly, I love that everyone argues about whether this is authentic Italian or not...frankly there is not a place where you can get "authentic" Italian food here. Provino's food is good though. It's a nice place to go on your birthday. As is the general testimony the rolls are amazing. The rolls & salad are my favorite part. I like going here for a relatively quick dinner when you're in a big party (most often on birthdays). This place is used to having large groups & children and are pretty efficient at it. I went to high school near here, and I know that they are one of the few places in town that accommodate 15-16 year old teenagers to provide them with jobs as hosts, and are very much family oriented. It's very community based in that way, so I see that as a positive, not a negative as so many of these reviews seem to imply. All in all, I felt compelled to leave a review to let people know that this is a great place to eat if the above mentioned things don't bother you. If you're looking for some sort of 5 star restaurant you'd see on Food Network this isn't it. At $10-20 per entree you can't expect that, and should perhaps re-evaluate your deductive reasoning skills. You wouldn't go to Chili's and complain that you didn't receive "authentic" chili and tex mex food. Or maybe you would. You see my point. :)

Garlic rolls were good, salad was brown and gross, my Chicken Marsala looked like dog food and tasted like, what one might imagine dog food tasting like. After one bite I sent it back, she asked if I wanted another item, I declined because the item was very, very bad. She then charged me for the whole meal even though I did not eat it. It was our first time eating there and MY LAST!

Provino's WAS my all time favorite Italian restaurant until tonight. I love the food and enjoy the atmosphere and in the past I have felt that it has always been worth the long wait. Well tonight the experience that I had at Provino's was unbelievable. We had a total of 9 in our group and we were celebrating my sisters birthday. We were seated in a room with a group of around 10-15 VERY loud women that were acting like they were at a bachlorette party. The were loudly swearing and talking about totally inappropiate things with children in the room. I am not a prude, but really that was not the place for behavior like that. The thing that really got me is that we complained along with several other tables and the manager acted like he didnt care. In fact he was rude about the whole thing and refused to do anything about the table being loud and all around crude. I eat at Provino's around once a month for birthdays and sometimes my husband will take me there just because he knows I love it but that will be the last time I eat there for a very long time if I ever eat there again. Horrible, horrible customer service and Provino's should be ashamed that they let that type of behavior continue.

Me and my mother first went to Provino's, be exspected to wait, but the wait was very worth while! After our 45min wait we were seated at booth and our waiter came straight to us. She was very quick to make sure our drinks were always full and were happy. When our food arrived we were very pleased with the taste and overall quailty, not to mention their rools are the best rolls I've had anywhere! We were so happy with ours meal that we deciced to get desert, and it was amazing! Overall Provino's was a great expirence, that we are definatly going to try again!

Being new in town, we were eager to try Provino's after a colleague mentioned that is a great place to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived with our two small children, we were told the wait was 15 minutes. 20 minutes later, we checked to see how close we were to being seated. We were told there was just one party ahead of us. For the next 15 minutes, as our children became increasingly tired and hungry, we watched as several other groups were seated. When we again asked how soon we'd be seated, we were told no suitable table was available. When we pointed out several empty booths, the hostess began listing reasons we couldn't sit at any of them. We asked to see the manager. After several minutes he appeared and told us they were running a little behind and were seating everyone based on when they arrived. We were on the verge of walking out when a kindly waitress said she would seat us in her section. She was very helpful and quickly brought out food since our small children by this time were exhausted and very hungry. The food itself was mediocre at best-poorly cooked pasta with bland, flavorless sauces. Our experience this evening with Provino's was very disappointing both in terms of service (except for our waitress) and poor quality food.

An extremely good restaurant. The salad and the rolls that are served before your entrees arrive make this a fantastic deal, though it is one of the more expensive places my wife and I go to. Both the salad and the rolls are of a high quality. My wife and I usually get Cannelloni En Bianco and if you want an extremely cheesy dish with hints of nutmeg this dish is a good bet. I have ordered Lasagna with Sausages and Eggplant Parmigiana before as well and those are good dishes also. My only gripe is I would like them to add a dish to the menu for an appropriate price. This dish would have bacon, portabello mushrooms, artichokes, and chicken sauteed in a pan with a lemon cream sauce over it. This could be served over angel hair pasta. I know how to make this dish at home, but I feel like the flavors of it would be appropriate for Provinos and would be very popular. This restaurant is free on your birthday with a drivers license and a paying friend. Angel Hair Dalvina is as close as you are going to get to the above suggested recipe and it is good enough to eliminate the craving for it. Try a little garlic butter from the rolls in the Angel Hair Dalvina. Take a little Angel Hair Dalvina home with you and eat it the next day. It seems like the flavors are better in this dish the next day.

went to provinos only for free birthday meal because the prices are so high, well first off it was almost to dark to read the menu mabe romantic for a couple but not for a family then took forever to get your order taken finally brought our drink's then hugh salad with hardly any dressing and 5 tiny rolls by the time or entree came along drink's and tiny rolls were gone so we asked for more rolls and drinks and i am not kidding we were just finishing up when they brought them so asked for to go boxes and cups for the drinks and anytime we asked for something it was never the same waiter.very poor service for the high prices.and mostly dry noodles with hardly any sauce.

This is mine and my husbands all time favorite eating out place.Sometimes we get an entree each but other times we split a meal .The salad and rolls are worth going for if nothing else. We usually order the Red Snapper Francese,,it is awesome! Don't believe the negative thing's some have written about the place,,usually it is people with a bone to pick with somebody anyway's.They will treat you with courtesy and meet your every need.We simply love it and go sometimes 2 times a week.Mostly we go once a week when we can.
