The food is great. I went in April 2009 and I feel the food was better. Went back in July 2010 and wasn't very happy with my two ribs that came with my meal. But the staff is friendly and willing to please. It was my fault for not speaking up. Overall, it really is a great joint. The Carolina Sweet sauce is so wonderful.

The food is above average, the service is awesome! It would appear that they boil/cook their meat in preparation to give it more tenderness - the ribs are very good but are almost more 'spare rib' setup than other places that tend to 'overcook' their ribs on the bbq... and maybe that's why they're so good. In my opinion (of course - it seems everyone has an opinion of what good bbq should taste like)... too many places stick ribs on the bbq and cook the life out of them - the meat is good, but that leaves the charred pieces you have to work through... not so with Sticky Fingers. My favorite part of this particular Sticky Fingers location is the service. I've been in here as a "business lunch," family dinner, and family lunch.... they take care of folks - and a place that can deal with kids and deal with business folks and keep them somewhat separate and everyone happy... kudos.

Stick fingers is not much more than any other commercialized assembly line food. If you're purist, don't fall for it. There could just as easily be 500 of these restaurants across the country. It's high on marketing and fancy names, low on core BBQ values. Skip it and find the first dive you come across.

I had the pleasure of eating at Sticky Fingers while in Chattanooga on a business trip. The beer selection was very basic but that's where 'basic' ends. We started off w/ the Hickory Smoked chicken wings which were very tasted (especially after adding some of the bbq sauces that were on the table). My entre was the rib sample consisting of a 1/4 rack of each of the following: Memphis Style Wet, Memphis Style Dry, Tennessee Whiskey, and Carolina Sweet. While I did not care of the Memphis Dry (I guess I'm not a dry rub kind of guy) I did enjoy the other varieties very much. Service was very good and prompt. Definitely a place that I will go next time I am in town.

We were rather disgusted to find that a half a rack of ribs, by itself, was $16.99! What thievery. We left without eating and went to Provino's. The food may be good here, but this is highway robbery.

WOW..Best Ribs I've ever had!
By Tam, 9/4/07
This place was GREAT!...The ribs were so wonderful...My fav was Tn. Whiskey...I got the sampler plate and they were all good. Our server wasn't the best, but the taste of the food made up for it! I will go back any chance I get. I bought a pack of the sauce to bring home with me! Price was good. It was very clean...Can't wait to have me some more ribs!

Thoroughly disappointed & expectations not met
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/3/07
First of all, the service left a lot to be desired. It took quite awhile for a server to even acknowledge our presence and get our drink orders. It also took about 20 minutes thereafter to get our food. We asked for corn bread during our wait and it came out COLD. Only slightly warmer on the next batch and the server never took the first batch away even though it was obvious that we were not eating it. Our orders were mixed up. Each of us got one of the other's side items instead of what we asked for. We had to ask for drink refills rather than the server seeing our empty glass and offering a refill. No suggestion of dessert by the server either. The dry rub ribs were both greasy and fatty. I ended up giving them to someone else in my party. Overall I was very disappointed in my visit. I frequented a Sticky Fingers in Charleston and loved it. I generally DO NOT care for BBQ ribs that much but after sampling a friend's at the Charleston restaurant, we decided to go back during our stay and I ordered the dry rub ribs. They were WONDERFUL. After raving so much about the place upon my return from the Charleston restaurant, and then getting the opportunity to take my brother to the one in Chattanooga, I felt like he had been gipped. He said that he would return but I don't think I would.

Best Chain BBQ ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/16/07
Sticky Fingers are always a damn good choice whether you are in TN, SC, GA and wherever they have expanded from now. Restaurants dont grow so fast for no reason folks. Try the potato skins(piggybacks) with the carolina mustang.
