Breakfast is decent and cheap. Not any better than waffle house though. Dinner is pretty bad. Everything is processed #$%$. I don t think anything was homemade, or at least it didn t taste like it. don t go there for dinner.
This is a very good down home place to eat. Nothing fancy here, just good ol southern cooking. They have an excellent breakfast menu. 3 eggs over medium with biscuits, gravy, tenderloin and home fries with sliced tomatoes (in season of course) does the trick for me. Dinner at the Southern Restaurant is really good too. The home cooking menu changes each day but a meat and 3 veggie plate will fill you up. They are very busy each morning for breakfast and evening for supper and have been for years.
