After 30 years of serving pancakes, this Village tradition is more popular then ever. The secret to the "Pantry's" success is simpledelicious pancakes served the way you want them. Whether it's the standard buttermilk variety or one of the many specialty designs, you will be delighted with the light, fluffy hotcakes and the delicious syrups and toppings. Raspberry pancakes with whipped cream is the most popular item on the menu, but you'll be hard pressed to find a selection you don't love at first bite. This restaurant is open daily from 7 a.m. onwards

Great Breakfast but the parking thing is real deceptive. Its an anchor of a strip center with a sign the welcomes parking (something like parking for Pancake Pantry). I missed the whole parking meter thing until I was on the way out (its tucked in a corner) fortunately I did not get any ticket or "boot"--I guess I was there too early! Other than that potential trap, it was a great experience.

Obviously this guy and his driver did not see the sign as you walk out of the parking lot to pancake pantry. You have to go to a machine now and get a ticket. You get an hour of free parking and its for all the stores on that blocks storefront. The sign also mentions that it is out of the hands of pancake pantry and the other stores. So its not their fault. They also dont validate. I don't think its all that hard to keep track of how long you have spent in the restaurant, walk back out or have someone in your party walk back out, print another slip and replace the one in your window. geez man, really.

My name is William Heimermann. I am handicapped and am a patient at the V.A. Hospital. My appointments there are relatively frequent and, with each morning appointment, a visit to Pancake Pantry has been a tradition. I have 5 children and 19 grandchildren who have been your customers for years. My children are in the music business and often meet their business aquaintances at the Pantry. This morning (March 31st)my driver dropped me off and proceeded to the parking lot. We had an enjoyable breakfast, as usual and when I was picked up at the front entrance, I was handed an envelope with a $15.00 parking fine. This is ridiculous and irritating. So much so that I will not risk going to the Pantry again. I am sure that my family members and friends will also follow suit. Oviously I will refuse to pay the fine and will welcome a small claims lawsuit FYI: My last two receipts - 3/26/09 Record # 206 3/31/09 Record # 130 Sincerely and with regrets. William C. I am disappointed!! 3 Years ago this was a wonderful place to eat pancake, but this time I found the syrup watery coming from a bottle as vinager. Since when, should syrup have this texture? The last time I went to this restaurant, the 3 stacks of pancake's were large and fluffy, now they look like silver dollars and chewy. Second, the bussboy sat us in a small, narrow table a few inches away from another couple, who we had to listen to their private conversation. Finally, the price was outrageous. Next time, IHOP will be the place of choice.

Food was ok, but its breakfast, so how far wrong can it go? Waits are common on weekends. I've had both good and bad service experiences. Parking on weekdays can be a problem. Ambience is unremarkable...laminated menu type of place. In my opinion, grossly overpriced and overrated except that its something most new to Nashville do just to say that they've been there. Wouldn't particularly recommend it.

YUMMMMMYYYY!! Best Pancakes ever! The line is usually out the door...or so I'm told and I completely understand why. The line did move fairly quickly and you don't have to wait very long for the food either...and even if you did, it's very well worth it! Just wow..so good just thinking about it makes me drool! You MUST eat here!

The Pancake Pantry is the best place to find breakfast. It's well worth the wait in line for an omlet and stack of pancakes!
