The Prosser family provides great Southern food in a home like setting, with friendly service, and private room accommodations. You will be greeted with a smile and welcomed into our dining room with gas fireplace and chandelier lighting. Charming decor and antiques are displayed throughout. We offer a buffet of homemade salads, vegetables, entrA(C)es, bread and desserts while our friendly wait staff assist you with your beverage and table service.

My name is William Starnes and my wife Nikita love Hermitage House and the owners who run it.There food is the best in all of Nashville,their salad bar is the best b/c they offer the customers a large variety of items on the bar. I love the catfish more than anything,all the food they provide is home made and they desserts are also homemade.Forget the other places that have buffet b/c The Hermitage House is #1,we have been dining there for about 5 years and we consider them family.They really are professional in the way of servicing their customers.The business is family owned and they treat everybody like family, Pete Prosser and Tim and Bob's mom is a sweet lady to know.Just take it from me, and take your family to a true dining experience,and I promise you that you want be sorry that you did.

The country cooking is wonderful. It is family owned and if the owner herself is usually there greeting customers. Her grand-daughters are the waitresses, and they couldn't be nicer. I wish I could eat there every day.
