Demos' Restaurant, Nashville

What a horrible Mistake.We were looking for a simple good lunch and Demos was recommended to us. What a Mistake, We were told Italian, well it's everything but. When you walk into an Italian restaurant and they don't know what spaghetti bolognese is run . Unfortunately I didn't. The menus were visibly greasy. As was the leather on one side of the booth. The silverware had to be replaced there was food stuck to them. The waitres seemed horrified, and another employee came to the table and brought newer utinsels, and was very apologetic, I will give them that. I ordered the Lasagna, and it had a few layers of bland mystery meat wedged in there, and a slop of tomato sauce on top. After 2 bites I couldn't take it any longer. I just stopped eating it. I didn't complain about the food, only the silverware. I ordered the food they prepared it and just because I didn't care for it,I still paid for it, as I should. Ionly am writing this to let someone else know what they can expect. The service was fine the food and everything else was awful.

When I worked in parking downtown, I recommended Demos' to customers at least once a day. We often take guests to Demos', and the next time they visit, they want to go again. It's an excellent date restaurant, but also family friendly. It has a sophisticated feel, excellent food, awesome service, and SUPER prices. I have consistently enjoyed Demos' over the years, and went back just recently for Valentine's Day. Yes, there was at least an hour wait, but it was a special occasion, it's usually less than 30 minutes. It's a popular place though, I try to avoid going on game nights also, because of the wait.

my wife and I went to Demo's in Nashville 2 years ago, all i can say is it one of the best, if not the best place i have eaten, service 2nd to none, food excellent. We went back the following day and the manager recognised us, names aswell... I would recommend this place with out hesitation...

While I haven't eaten at this location, Ihave eaten numerous times in Murfreesboro and Lebanon. Wonderful food, great service, tremendous value.Most of the reviews on here are 4's and 5's- and there's good reason for that.

My husband & I went to Nashville last week for a meeting and each time we asked a local for a restaurant recommendation they would say Demo's. Finally the last night we went and all I can say is I'm sorry we waited so long to go. Demo's has the best seasoned-to-perfection steak, wonderful bread, delicious spaghetti and the service was outstanding. And on top of all that the price was unbelievable. My question now is when will y'all open a Demo's in Mississippi? We will be the first in line. Great dining experience and we will be back.

TBC was not eating at Demos before writing that review. We ate there three times while golfing in Nashville for a week and the rib eye and spaghetti were as good as any in the Chicago area. Great service and price. Very crowded at dinner time...so you know its good.

Great food and great atmosphere. Will definately go back next time I'm in town.

I took my wife, children and nieces there the day after Christmas...food was terrific and service was excellent at a great price too. I will always stop and eat there when I travel to the Nashville area.

Worst steak I have ever had, and my wife's pasta plate was not much better.

I was very disappointed. I ordered pasta with marinara and grilled chicken. They brought me pasta with chicken marsala. The order was corrected, but the chicken and pasta were greasy and slimy and highly salted. So were the greasy rolls. Yeech.
