Melting Pot Restaurant, Nashville

The Melting Pot is great for a special date such as an anniversary or Valentines Day. It is expensive, but worth the experience that you have while you are there. The food is great, but the best part of the entire experience is the desert. It's indescribeable! It's not a place you would visit often, but definately a place that everyone should go once!

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant. It is by far the best restaurant I have EVER been to. They start you off with a salad, then some cheese fondue with bread and veggies, then you get to pick a cooking style with a variety of meats and seafood, and to top it all off you get to pick out a chocolate fondue with marshmellos, cheesecake, brownies, pound cake, strawberies and bananas! My mouth is watering just thinking about it! It is extremely romantic. The waiting staff is very friendly and do not rush you through your meal...which is good since it's alot of food. I like how you can cook the food and eat at your own pace. The only downfall I have is that is extremely expensive (around $100 a couple) but it is defenetly worth it! Where else are you going to find a restaurant that serves great fondue?! Me and my husband save up just to go there every year for our anniversarry. And if you go to their website and sign up for their club fondue they send you coupons for a free chocolate or cheese fondue for your birthday and anniversary!

I love this place! I moved to Nashville back in Feb '09 and found this place via a tv ad and gave it a try. This is a dining experience that is so unique. It is also a great place for a romantic date too. It is a bit on the expensive side so I treat myself about once a month to a meal here. If you want a quick meal, this is not the place for it. It is very leisurely and takes some time to go through all the courses. That is what I like about it - the staff does not rush you through the meal to give your table to the next person. I like to take a book with me so I can read while my food is cooking in the fondue pot.

I love this place. There is something romantic about it. My date thought he'd get sick from it all. He was a little apprehensive about sharing. But it is truly a bonding moment. The vulnerability of trusting that someone doesn't become a second dipper and the humour of discovering how to dip twice in unconventional ways, made the whole thing that much more of a bonding moment. So, when asked where do I want to eat on a date, I simply reply, "The Melting Pot, if you want to see me again!" ;)

I LOVED this restraunt. My Husband and I went there for my 21st Birthday a few years ago. He is not the romantic type so the restraunt set the mood for my needs but it was SO uptight that he was uncomfortable. The food was sooooo good and we got to spend time enjoying each others company. We are calling ahead to make reservations this year for our anniversary. (Hopefully we can afford it by then) THe prices are a little high but ALL SOOOO worth it. Its wonderful!

Very nice for a date if your not on a time constraint. The food is good but its a very hands on experience. A great place for a late night desert while out on the town.

My husband and I had tickets to the Nutcracker and decided to make reservations for the Melting Pot prior to the show. It was our first time visiting the melting pot but it will definitely not be our last. Everything was as close to perfect as possible. The lighting was dim, the service was warm, professional, and fast, and the bartender never skipped a beat. It was the perfect romantic beginning to the rest of our night.

I had the pleasure of going to this elegant establishment a few nights ago. It was a most entertaining experience and I hope to visit again. Mouthwatering chocolate ... and a cafe' mocha unlike any others. Wonderful!

First, I would recommend the meal for two. We love it. There are several courses, so be prepared to be totally FULL when you leave. The dessert is the best I have ever had. It's also romantic, if you prefer. But if you decide to go with friends, it's very entertaining!
