Hard Rock Cafe
As you would expect, Nashville's Hard Rock includes a lot of country and western memorabilia. Among the more popular items on display are a guitar signed by Stevie Ray Vaughn and recording equipment used by Elvis Presley. It's a popular place, so expect a long wait for your burger and fries, the typical fare at any Hard Rock location. The gift shop next door sells T-shirts, key chains, posters and other music related items that make great souvenirs.
My husband and I spend the weekend in Nashville before he was deploying. I had never been to a Hard Rock Cafe so we decided to go for lunch. Once we were seated we had a great waiter whom I was able to joke around with and he had a sense of humor. The food was delicious (but the prices were a little high for my taste) But we definately left there full. After we were done eatting we went upstairs to check out the rest of the decor and listen to some teenagers recording and see Nashville from the upstairs balcony and we enjoyed a drink from their bar up there. Overall it was a great experience the one thing I would complain about was the hostess when we entered had a lot of gaged facial jewerly which I didn't see very professional for any resturant.
I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was there on 9/12/10. I should have known better when i walked in and it almost completely empty. The nachos were the worst tasting thing i've ever eaten, my drink was disgusting, and my overpriced steak sandwich was practically still raw even though i ordered it well done. And on top of it, the waitstaff were extremely rude. Worst meal i'd ever had!
We stopped at the Hard Rock in Nashville for lunch on 4/19/10 with some friends who had never been to a H.R. before. We couldn't believe our eyes as we watched the servers use their fingers to add tomatoes, onions and lettuce to the sandwiches as they came out of the kitchen. What the heck?! It was kind of hard to enjoy our lunch after that.
Should have learned after our first snubbing, but thought that time would have changed things, so took my niece who was in from out of town to Hard Rock this last weekend for some pictures and some drinks. Well, we were ignored by the hostess, who was more than happy to help the people standing behind us (they were dressed really nice). I wanted to leave but boyfriend said let's go to the bar. So we walked ourselves to the bar where we sat for a few minutes before being acknowledged. Drinks were ordered and must say they were terrible. Niece had a frozen margarita that tasted like a slushie with a splash of lime and a hint of tequilla essence. But slap a $8 price tag on it (oh wait, add another $6 for the souvenier glass) and it amounted to the worst margarita ever!
Hard Rock is past it's prime. Avoid this one. There are plenty of fun drinking and eating joints in Nashville besides Hard Rock. Find one.
Have eaten there many times and will go back! Food is excellent and servers are very friendly.
Tip: My hubby and I always split the Jumbo Combo. It is plenty enough, a great variety and under $20 for both of us!
Me and some friends was in Nashville going to a concert and we stopped by H.R.C. and man do I love that place. The servers was great and very nice and man I wish I had some of those guitars from that place... Very Very Nice... !
