Carrabba's Italian Grill, Franklin

Yes, it is a chain but it is the best Italian place in Franklin/Cool Springs. This is the only place where I get excited about ordering grilled chicken breasts (Chicken Bryan is one of a favorite meals anywhere, even though the portions have dropped in size sometime in the last couple of years). Good location, long wait. Made from scratch food, including the salad dressings, pasta, and bread. MMMMMMMmmmmmm

My mother adores this place. She always gets either the lentil or minestrone soup. My sister loves the calamari and fettuccini alfredo. I just like the marinara sauce and the salads (dry). One bad thing about this place is that they left out some food on our take out and never did anything about it. They still owe us.

We all love the bread, minestrone, chicken and pasta. They take their time and make tasty food. Even my five year old will wait here, they give the kids a little piece of dough to play with and then you can get it put in the oven. I would recommend this to anyone.

My wife and I eat out more than most and we've tried em all. Carrabbas is where we go the most. Food, service (and martinis) are consistanly excellent. We go 8 of 10 times out and I order the veal almost always. Attention to detail. Best bread. Freshest olive oil. Best trained servers. Consistanly good...I'm hungry.

I loved the menu, there is alot to offer at carrabbas. The service is outstanding and its a great place for an intimate dining expierence. I highly recommend it.

My pet pieve, growing up in an Italian family, is sauce(or gravy for your Jersey Italians) made with paste and sweetened with sugar. Good sauce needs no sugar, enough said about that. If you like that sauce you owe it to yourself to start with the muscle appetizer. The serve you up enough to fill you and even some to share and they are in a gentle butter garlic sauce. So my advice is to go for the appetizers.

Carrabas is my favorite place! Consistently great food and service at a reasonable price. I know it's a chain, but we have always been pleased. Nice atmosphere, great mixed drinks.
