This place has gone down hill at least for the lunch crowd. 5 of us were there yesterday. One friend loves cheese pizza and she likes to sprinkle oregano on top. The last 3 times she has asked for oregano she has been told they were out. (Isn t this an Italian restaurant) Yesterday it took 20 minutes to get the salads out. There were only about 15 customers in the place. And the server wasn t sure how to separate our checks. So after 15 minutes one of our ladies took the ticket and wrote by name who got each item. After 20 minutes we asked another waiter and the manager came out and said that he needed to put the waiter through more training but he would help him. Finally after another 20 minutes we got our tickets which were not right. I had a 10% discount but was afraid to use it. One person was over charged and it took an additional 10 minutes to get that taken care of. The manager did apologize but was not sincere. We were not offered anything to compensate for the extra hour taken away for our jobs due to the server not being able to provide us a check. Lunch took 2 hours. I will not be frequenting this place again.
My favorite is the Sedona pizza. It has garlic roasted chicken breast, fire roasted red peppers, mushrooms, red onions, and of course, mozzarella cheese. It's SOO delicious. The service is always great as well.
Since I have moved to TN from the east coast I have been in search of good pizza. There has seemed to be an inability to get it right anywhere towards the southern region of this country. But Oh! How excited I became when i discovered Pie In The Sky. This pizza is absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection, crust with perfect texture and taste, great sauce and a great variety of high quality toppings. They are incredibly consistent, every pizza I have ever got there is perfect. The wait staff is incredibly accommodating, and on the off chance they do mess up parts of your meal are free. This is the most sublime pizza I have ever had in TN and possibly anywhere else I have lived. The pizza is a tad pricey, but in my opinion well worth it. The atmosphere is fun with a sort of planetarium feel.
Do yourself a favor and trek out to cool springs to check it out, you won't regret it.
