My family and I were seated with our table pushed up against the Emergency Exit on Thanksgiving Day. Since there were patrons lined up with an hour wait, we would have been trampled to death in the event of a fire. Since the exit was 25 feet from the kitchen entrance I was concerned. My motherof 83 years was in a wheelchair. This was not safe seating for us under the circumstances. It would have been an additional hardship on the staff to move her, and doubly hazardous to her. I'm sure the staff was challenged by having to accommodate our party of 5 at a 4 top table in the smoking section on such a busy day, but we didn't realize where we were being seated, until after we had placed our order. Should I be concerned? Should Cracker Barrell?
