I never bother to review restaurants I don't like. So when I write a review, it must be very special... and it's usually about the new gems - the smaller places that don't get much attention, but are so good they move me to write. Sakura is one of those places.
The owner and sushi chef creates little works of art out of the freshest seafood available in landlocked Franklin. Everything is top quality ingredients, and you don't realize what a difference that makes until you experience it. The servers treat you like royalty and take care of you during your entire stay.
The dining room is intimate, warm and inviting - the kind of place that is both casual and still nice enough to bring an important business associate or a romantic date. If you don't feel like dining in, they have filled carry-out orders for me in as little as 15 minutes!
