Terra Cotta Cafe, Auburn

My husband and I enjoyed our lunch. The chicken and rice soup was homemade and delicious, wonderful chicken salad and fresh fruits and vegetables. We had snickers pie and lemon pie for dessert. Wonderful! Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere.

We had eagerly awaited lunch in this quaint little home-turned-restaurant. But we won't go back. The chicken salad was warm and had way too much mayonnaise. The pasta special of the day was too greasy to eat. I had to flag down my waitress twice to get my glass refilled or to get my check. We were alone in the room, and she never checked on us. It also took a long time to be served. We won't go back, which is a shame. The location is excellent. They could do much more with the rooms and a WHOLE lot more with the food and service.
