Service was good, but the food was just extremely bland (seems to be an issue with other Mexican restaurant around here, too). I would not recommend. This place used to be great, but now it s not so good. I would not recommend going to this place.
Just left that restaurant, the food was so good that I just had to write a review! Ive been here since 19 July 2010 fm Texas (the Mexican food capital of America). Loved it the first time but it got sold last month and has no liquor license. Didn't go for a few weeks but the food was so good I went back and found that the only thing that changed was ownership (who is waiting for the license to clear). The cook and wait staff is the same.
Take it from me, this is the best Mexican food in the area. I went to the other one in Daleville, called La something or other, ..no comparison. Being form Texas I could tell the different, beer or no beer. The food and salsa over there was no where near as fresh, it tasted like previous frozen food, ¦really! The steaks at this place are the best of the best, cooked to order and fresh, try the # 65 (had it tonight) nice ribeye with shrimp in a white wine sauce, rice, beans and a salad,,,, totally Freaking Delicious! Believe me, if you don't like it, you don't know Mexican! Try and tell me!
Well, after looking around So. AL for a couple of years we finally found this restaurant. The food is good and affordable. The service is a little slow at times. Our family makes it in about once a week for supper, buffet nites are the best there is plenty to choose from. It would be nice if they had beef fajita nachos, but they don't. They do have the best tamales I've ever eaten.
