WHAT A TERRIBLE SIGHT TO ENTER THE COFFEE LOFT AND SEE A GROUP OF EARLY MORNING RUNNERS LAYING ON THE FLOOR IN THE COFFEE SHOP DOING THEIR STREACHING .I THOUGHT THIS WAS A COFFEE SHOP,NOT A GYM. CAN YOU IMAGINE GOING IN A STARBUCKS AND SEE THIS. THE MANAGER WOULD BE PUT IN JAIL FOR ALLOWING SOMETHING LIKE THIS.
What does real quality coffee mean? The Coffee Loft has the best quality and flavors in LA that I've ever been to. Starbucks Who you ask? They can't hold a candle to the service, quality and overall comfortable atmosphere. I love the espresso drinks they are soooo addicting and their Icerageous are outrageous not to mention their great variety of sweets and new items they are offering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can stop in at anytime and always find something to eat not to mention they bake most of their own products from scratch. I love the employees there- they are the best and make you feel like your family when you walk in. Kudos to the Coffee Loft for celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year hope you are around when I'm 90 and need a jolt to get my blood flowing. Keep up the good work!
Wow can you find a better coffee shop around no way I go to coffee loft just about everyday before one of my jobs in the evenings. I absolutely love the espresso and I couldn't possibly choose a favrite drink cld or hott the friendly baristas working will fix u an unforgetable drink you'll love!
My wife and I went to a wedding near the coffee loft last week.
The groom, who is a coffee lover and wanted really good coffee at the reception, had ordered a bag of his favorite type but hadn't thought to get a grinder. He asked my wife if she would go the Coffee Loft and have it ground. She took it in and explained to the barista that she needed to get some ground for a wedding reception. She then placed her order for 2 to go coffees, and while she was waiting the owner came out and started asking why she needed the coffee ground there. My wife explained the situation and said that she didn't mind to pay for it to be ground. The owner acted really angry that she had the nerve to ask to have the coffee ground there. The owner agreed to grind the coffee, but had a negative attitude towards my wife. She wanted to know where the reception was, who was getting married, had my wife ordered anything, or was she just there to have the coffee ground, and why did she choose this coffee shop the have the coffee ground. My wife answered her questions and said that the groom recommended this coffee shop because it was close by and he had been in there several times before and thought it was nice. My wife said the girls working in the shop were nice, but she didn't like being interrogated by the owner. That's just bad business if you ask me.
I can't really say much negative about the Coffee Loft. They have some of the BEST frozen coffee drinks that are around. They have my favorite ( Irish Kiss with half and half) that is to DIE FOR!!! And they also have a little bit of food there that, belive it or not, is damn adictive. They ahve wraps there that are absolutely worth the money you pay for them. The Guacamole Wrap is the best there and it is nice and spicy and Oh so GOOD!
Starbucks definitely has some competition with these folks. Origional, quaint, and absolutely worth the trip to Scenic 98 in Fairhope for the coffee and deserts and wraps! Wonderful place.
