I agree with Kimmie. Yes it is a nice little piece of Italy. Bob is right that you can see into the kitchen, but you see into the kitchen at pizza hut and mcD's so that is a non-issue. I prefer my food to be less salty than the average diner, but everything I have experienced at Papas has been delicious. While the staff takes pride in their steaks, I think their pasta is tops. The eggplant parmesean is the best around, way better than OliveG and Carraba's. And they make the very best lasagna.
Comparable meals are tastier and less costly than the chains. Only once has the service been less than excellent. However, the waitress was obviously new at it and has since learned the craft.
The only thing I could suggest they improve is presentation. But with a cozy atmosphere, cloth napkins and seperate salad forks, I don't really care. Especially when I'm paying less than $10 for dinner.
