Great food, the owner was very nice and made you very comfortable. Service was great. I recommend to everyone.

Ate at Damn Yankies last night. Loved it. The owner is a little "over the top," but the food awesome. Service was good. I had the Chicken Picatta and it rocked. This food rated along with Carrabas. I will go back. Tonight, I drove by Damn Yankies and tried Heroes, on the way to Jacksonville. BIG MISTAKE! Food good, but the service was horrid. If the service stinks, it hurts the entire meal. I hope that our server was "new;" I would hate to think that an experienced server was that poor. VERY POOR EXPERIENCE! Damn Yankies will be my first stop next time. I would rather put up with the "goofy" talk of the manager. (Take a chill, dude. Back off some. I come there for the food. I don't want to hear how your carrot cake can be put in a sauna and create steam from the moisture of the cake.) Still, I am a Southern Guy, but Damn Yankies won my vote.

not worth the time or money. I'm from New Orleans and thought I was going to get good food. Spent two weeks in Calhoun County. The Owner was obviously in competition with other local restaurants by the way he was talking to me and my coworkers at the bar one night. Garfrerick's Cafe in Oxford is where I would suggest going if I'm in the area. Better atmosphere and fresher food

The place has the best food in town. It is not a place for children, mostly because it has a bar environment. If you are a smoker this is the place to go. The place does allow smoking. It has the freshest seafood of any place in the area. The oysters are great. Everything I have ever had from ther has been excellent. I usually eat there a couple of times a month.

Food was amazing. Our waiter was very knowledgeable on the wine and food. He was by far the best waiter I have ever had. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great meal. The only negative would be the chef/owner and his very loud and rude mouth.....he should probably just stay in the kitchen.

if the owner spent more time dealing with the daily operation of this place maybe the food would be better.Its more like a cycle shop then a place to eat.Myself and three friends have never had food and service so bad,the steaks were over cooked and the shrimp tasted like it had been there for days.And if you have kids I would not recommend bringing them to this place because of the lanuage coming out of the kitchen.And after asking my server to ask them to tone it down it got worse.Maybe the worst dining resturant I have ever been in.

Had to beg for service 2x.. Overpriced,overcooked food. Dunno how this place is still open.Hint: When you have 10 servers & 3 tables,don't stand around playing grab ass with the bartenders.Take care of your customers.. Doesn't matter. I won't be back.

I have family in the Anniston area and spent the weekend down there. My family was going on and on about the place. We walked in what seemed to be the back door. The first thing you hear is screaming and yelling, then you see this man cursing worse than anyone I've heard in a while. (and i curse). The seven of us sat down and my aunt and uncle assured me the food was good. I ordered a trio of fish with a tomato basil sauce. The fish was no doubt old and not fresh at all, the sauce was watered down and tasted like it came out of a can. The entire time we were there the man that was screaming kept screaming and just looked mean. He came to our table and said how is everything? and that he was the owner. How do you answer that after the way he was screaming at his workers. So we left and my family said they would never be back after that experience. There was however a restaurant in the area that was pretty awesome from top to bottom. I'll write a review about that one as well. If you like to pay for way over priced food, with a horrible atmosphere then this is the place for you. I know I will never be back there.

Never again! We ordered for our office & half of the orders were wrong. I ordered cheese fries with NO BACON (I'm allergic to bacon) & when I got it, it was smothered in bacon. When I spend $8.00 on cheese fries I expect to get them the way I ordered them. Another girl ordered a cheese burger, when she got it it was plain & charred, there wasn't even any cheese on the cheese burger. Another girl ordered chicken fettuccine alfredo & got 5 pounds of pasta & hardly any chicken. When we called to complain the girl says "that's how it was ordered." We asked to talk to a superviser, & he says "she said that's how it was ordered." They clearly DO NOT cater to their customers & they are WAY over priced. Needless to say, we will never order from them again & I would encourage you not to either.
