I got the pasta for two. First the pasta was dry and cold. Very gross. They brought it on one plate. I dont eat out of the same plate as someone else. Yuck. They put hot food right in front of my 1 year old and not us who were eating it and she almost burnt herself. I ordered a milk for my daughter and never got it. The food was good the first two times I went but this time was SO bad I will never go back. The service was horrible as well. We were not offered refills since the waitress never came back.
I eat here often for lunch and the food is always delicious and served fast and the service is almost always great. I recommend you try it! As a previous reviewer said, the roastbeef bread sticks are amazing! And I love their chicken salad. :)
Mia's is a great place to eat. Everything I've had there is very good. i've read some of the comments & don't agree. The sphagetti & meatballs I've had are great, the club sandwich, etc. We go so much that they know us & know what we want to drink & usually what we want to eat. Sometimes we change our order, so they always ask just to make sure. The waitresses are always polite & friendly as is the owner! A great place to eat & not very expensive.
Where do I began? Mia's is the best restaurant I've been too. The waiters are so kind and I have come to make good friends with them. They start remembering what you order each time you come in so when we come in they just bring the drinks and then take the order. I love it ! It's one of those that you just feel at home :) I'm soon applying for a job there so I may work in a good clean environment where it's good cooking and good people.
Went there Sunday June 6th and ordered the Chicken Alfredo with garlic bread and cheese bread for take out to next door at the Holiday Inn where I was staying. Got to my room a few minutes later, bread items were fine..no complaint.. but the chicken Alfredo wasn't even warm.. it was COLD. Now my guess is when you run across this, they cook the food a day or two before hand and then reheat it as needed. That explained the Alfredo sauce being clumpy and not runny. Took it back, and asked for my money back..got a bit of attitude from my server who took it back. Why come down so hard on Mia's? You simply DO NOT have cold food items.. especially chicken of all things (you know.. POULTRY!) that can get people very sick when you decide to save a buck and reheat things. Not to mention, in MY VIEW in this day and age with the restaurant business being hit so hard one would think, retaining business is imperative, but obviously Mia's must not take it as seriously. But then again, as a former Dothan resident, its very hard to find any quality restaurants in Dothan...if your for chains and fast food, then enjoy...if its quality...sorry, go elsewhere!
I don't know if we just had a bad expierence or what but it was horrible! We are new to Dothan and I had heard that this was a great place to eat, but not for me! My husband got pasta with chicken, and the chicken was those precooked Tyson chicken strips that are in the stores. I had the chicken salad sandwich which the chicken salad was Mrs. Stratons from the grocery store also!I don't understand how they call themselves a restaurant, I make better food at my house.
Everything from their cheese bread, salads, spagetti, alfredo, mmmmm chocolate cake, tea, you gotta love. The prices are as great as their food. Every visit I've been there the waitresses are very nice be it dine in or take out. You gotta try this if you haven't had it.
