The servers seem to of neeb there forever and this is a true Montgomery throw back. All this and the food is better. Fried chicken, Turkey and dressing , veggies made on the spot and the BEST HOMEADE PIE in the entire south...bar none. Thats the way I see it, Im driving to Montgomery tomorrow, just to take my mother to lunch

The food at Martins is very good. If you like home cooked food then this is the restaurant for you. I used to eat there pretty regularly while living in Montgomery. Unfortunately I don't get to Montgomery very often, and this is one of the places that I miss.

Cornbread to die for!!! Now that I live in AZ and no longer have business in Montgomery, I'm missing your wonderful cornbread!!!Where do I get the recipe? I always had just lots of vegetables with the cornbread - it was wonderful!

I've eaten at alot of so-called southern home cooking restaurant. Martins Restaurant in Montgomery Alabama can claim this title and stand alone. This meal of 1 meat and 3 veggies will knock your socks off. not only is the food excellent but the plates are loaded with food. Reminds me of eating at grandmas house with fresh home grown veggies from her garden. Great Job Martins wish you were in the Atlanta area. But anytime I'm in Montgormery Al. you will see me there.

We're at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, traveled from Geneva Alabama, had lunch at Martin's today. That was one of the finest restaurant meals I've ever had ANYWHERE, and I 've traveled all over the world and at of some very finest restaurants. Very much worth the 2 hour drive just to eat here. Had fried chicken, cornbread dressing, paradise salad, blackeyed peas. mash potatoes and excellent chicken gravy. Just superb all the way around. Very, very memorable meal.

Great food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bad for people in a wheel chair or walkers with a handicap. You have to ask people to kindly move to seat the individual.

The food is great- especially the fried chicken!! To me, its a little expensive, $8.95 for a plate lunch. The seating is a little crowded, tables very close together. Get there early it gets crowded quick.

A nice place to get home cooked meals the way you make them. The cornbread is the best that I've ever had and so is the iced tea. So if you're hungry for some real food, come here

Martins Restaurant is the best. Anytime you want good vegetables and fried chicken Martins is the place to go. You can pick from a variety of main courses and they are all great. The staff makes you feel right at home.
