I will never go back to this place. My husband and I pulled up at 11:10 am on a Friday. We were the only customers there. While waiting there were about 5 people that came after us... About 2 of the 5 were call shears but the other 3 were window orders just like us. All of them were served before us. We left! I called back and to me there was poor customer service from the lady who I spoke with. She had all the excuses as to why this happened but never said sorry. We left at 11:57 am my entire lunch was wasted. My husband and I were African American and everyone that was put ahead of us was not.... I will not patronize places like this. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
After eating a burger from the King... I can tell you this was the best and I mean the best burger I've eaten. Better than 5 Guys, In & Out and others... Lets just say I will never be a vegetarian after eating a Hamburger King burger with everything on it.
I lived in Montgomery from 1986 til 2002. In the late 80s or early 90s , Hamburger King was rated by USA Today to have the 25th best hamburger in the country. Truth is Pat's hamburgers are the best I have ever eaten any where in my life (65 years). The last time I was in Montgomery was 2005 and every day's lunch was a Hamburger King. I always called in my order so did not need to wait much , if at all. Bon appetit!
I just called HB to order a Cheeseburger All The Way. If you haven't tried it, you must. I have been going to HB since 1999 when an Attorney by the name of Thomas D. Simon asked me if I wanted to try the Best Hamburger of all time. And to my surprise it was and still is. So, if you are ever in Montgomery, Alabama stop by Hamburger King on South Dectur Street.
This is by far, the BEST Hamburger I have ever had! I don't know why, it's a very simple recipe/process. No hidden ingredients, you can watch it being made. I LOVE THIS hamburger. I can eat it every day. Today I had a hamburger, egg and cheese sandwich, it was GREAT!!! Make sure you visit HK today!
I have eaten these burgers for the last 20 years and to me there is no other burger in Alabama like Pat's.
This is not your fast food politically correct snobby look down your nose hamburger joint. While you sit and wait for this culinary pleasure, the waif of smoke off the grill dances around your head while you watch jealously to those before you enjoying the ecstasy your palate will enjoin in just a few minutes.
When finally it's your turn and you pick-up this weighty meal, you will have a mixture of condiments and dripping grease sliding off the back of the bun while you enjoy one of the few meals that are worth the wait, the wait for hamburger perfection.
I challange anyone who can find a better tasting hamburger in Alabama, it just can't be done.
