LA Alameda Mexican Restaurant, Huntsville

I've been going here ever since they opened. I go a couple times a week. I love their fajitas, chilli rellenos, de pollo alameda, carnitas tacos and their chillaquilas. The staff and owners (family ran) are great. For me their food is better than Phils (who's also owned by the same as rosies) or Rosies.

My husband and I eat here at least twice a week. The food is consistantly delicious, the margaritas are great, and the staff is friendly. There are some secluded tables with TVs. They have started putting Tamales on the buffet, and my husband just LOVES them. I can't get away from the chicken fajitas often, they are so good!

We have eaten at La Alameda on a regular basis, at least monthly, for as long as they have been here. Their food, service and prices are excellent and beat hands down Rosies, Phil's, Bandito and El Palacio. Even though some of the servers have limited English skills have never had a problem with an order. Every time I go someplace else am sorry.

I really enjoy this place. The buffet is nice with a wide variety of items on it. The prices are good for lunch and dinner. If you really don't want the buffet they have a great menu to order from. My wife likes the buffet, but a lot of times she goes with the large soft taco they serve from the menu. Try it, I am sure you will like it.

Huntsville's Best Kept Secret! The best Chili Rellenos and Margaritas in town. Excellent service and friendly wait staff. My wife and I have stopped by there at least once a week for the past three years.

The best thing about this restaurant is the buffet, which is only $6.25. You can choose from tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, chile relleno, rice, beans and a couple other items. It's definitely a better deal than ordering separate entrees. The ground beef (any of it) had NO seasonings, however, the chicken items had a decent amount of flavor. The waitstaff provides the bare minimum but for the price, what can you expect? In my opinion, there are other mexican restaurants that offer these items at similar pricing but much better tasting and better service.

The best food for the money! The best take out too! I've quickly become a fan. The most popular places are usually not the best. The masses can be duped so easily. Just give it a chance and you will be a fan too.

Not my favorite. Prices are good. Buffet style. I would go to Casa Blanca, Rosie's, Bandito Burrito first..

I enjoy taking my wife on a date there. We love the food, the service and the way it is organized. Way to go La Alameda
