Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant, Huntsville

I love their genuine ambiente. It's almost you cross the border and find yourself in a Mexican townbar. When you enter you smell the good food, hear in the background Mexican mariachi music, and watch busy waitors serving sizzeling plates. I only had lunch at this place. You always get free salsa and nachos before your order and it takes only a few minutes til you get you meal of your choice, which isn't always easy because their lunch specials are countless. I bet if you try it you will come back.

I love to eat lunch here. The food is always great and the price is even better. 5 bucks for most lunch specials, including my drink. My favorite dish is the chicken Chimichanga. Chips and Salsa while you wait. Yummy!

I have been eating with the group for 5 years... good food and a great lunch

The food is tasty, and the portions are generous - even the kids' plates! The prices can't be beat - $6 for combo plates overflowing with food, plus 2-for-one specials on certain nights. There are drink specials, too. They have large tvs in three of the four dining areas (where soccer is often broadcast). The space itself is a generous area - booths and tables are plentiful. On Sundays, they have a strolling mariachi band entertaining the diners. The waiters are nice, although sometimes you get the feeling that their English is still a work in porogress, but they are very polite, and accomodating - even with large groups and small children. I go there with my family and several other families every weekend without fail!
