Tims Cajun Kitchen, Huntsville

I have eaten here 4 times, loved the sausage poboy, gumbo, red beans & rice and just had the crawfish boil last night -- I couldn t careless if the recipes are authentic or not, I have enjoyed my meals. Staff service has been excellent and the prices are reasonable. I ll be going back.

Ok food, over priced, s l o w service. 2 po boys, 2 drinks.... $42.0!?! We waited 45 minutes for the drinks! Place wasn't half full. Never again.

I'm from Baton Rouge, and this stuff isn't authentic!!! The stuff that they call etouffee, was nothing but crawfish & rice with tomato soup dumped on top! It didn't taste too bad, but it isn't the real thing and shouldn't be called etouffee!‎

My husband and I are from East Tennesse. We were in Huntsville a while back and went here to eat. I thought the food was terrible. We have friends from Louisiana and they know how to cook cajun food. It's awesome. JW and Sandra Jean can cook the best cajun food ever. Especially the gumbo, white beans and cajun brownies.

This place was really good. I ordered the jumbalaya and Gumbo the few times I went there. I also had the Gator Tails as a starter. I was not disappointed. Great service and good beer.

Lots of good food, at a good price, locally owned, fun, good selection of beers. My favorite is the Crawfish Etouffe, and I truly love the bread pudding.

The man I dined with at your establishment will be the physical death of me. Otherwise a great place to meet and enjoy great cajun food. Please understand I will not be back.

Have you ever been to a restaurant where you can't find anything bad on the menu and you can never leave hungry? If so, you've probably been to Tim's. Like so many of the other great places in Huntsville, nobody just happens upon Tim's. It's really hard to see from the road, and when you do see it, you've almost passed the turn-off. Still, if you go with someone who's been, you'll find it, no problem. From the moment you walk through the door, you're treated like family (whether you're a regular like I was or it's your first time). Everything they cook is fantastic, and can't beat the prices at too many places in Huntsville. Like most places in Huntsville, they're pretty packed at lunchtime (and with lunch specials like they have, it's not hard to see why). In the evening, when dinnertime rolls around, they fill up again. It's a great place for either meal. The best items there are (in order) 1)Bread Pudding- Have them hold off on bringing it out until you're done with your meal. 2) Jambalaya- (Chicken + Sausage OR the Seafood) 3)Gumbo- Jimmy Buffett may have never eaten here, but this is Gumbo he would certainly play for.. 4)Po' boys (it doesn't matter what kind you get, they are stuffed with meat, veggies, etc)

This is a great place to meet friends for lunch. I had a steak and cheese po-boy and onion rings, both of which were delicious. They have the best bread pudding around for dessert. Good prices, a little loud, but overall a good dining experience.
