Ricatoni's Italian Grill, Florence

Travel to Florence once a year, Ricatoni s is always on our list of places to go, never been disappointed. Food is excellent, and we always buy some Olive oil to take back, cannot wait for next trip.

Over 2 million miles of travel and I am never in the area that I don't stop in and enjoy Ricatoni's. Honest family style Italian food equal to all but a few eateries in the Mid-west and NoEastern states. However, the Owner has let the food and service slip since the new early 2000s, but the food is still quite good, if you know how to order. Always ask for Balsamic Vinegar to go with the excellent Bread - And, tell them to make sure it is fully browned. The homemade pestos and table EVOO is very good. Most of the servers are kids from UNA, but if you tell them what you want or like, you will certainly get it - and well prepared to your order. DOWN from a scale of 5 stars but still a solid 4 in all categories. Mikie

Great Italian food if you like NORTHERN Italian. Good prices, good selection of NORTHERN dishes, great service.

Delicious! You have to try the ravioli! The sauce that comes on it is SO yummy! I love that each person gets there own bread, too!

It was OK. My lasagna was over cooked and had to ask for dessert. Next time I'll go to Frank's!

I go to school at UNA and I love going to Ricatoni's. It has a great atmosphere and I have never had any problems with the service. The food is amazing, especially the tomato creme! It is one of my favorite restaurants in Florence.

went 3/28/09 was place at a table in the middle of the pathway of the rest of the tables so the table was bumped every minute of our meal our salads was on the table with no silver ware my meal was bland lots of teenager there who uses it for there hang out not for the food. Needed to take a picture so i,ll remember the crappy time i had there.Safe your money go some where that you can eat in peace that the quality of the food is better One I,ll try it again then call the manager over just to let him know what a joke his place is

If you're from the northeast don't even bother! I had read good reviews and the hotel even suggested I eat there so I gave it a shot. I ordered crap cakes since crab in alabama is really good...this was awful. Somehow the frying took away all the flavor and the sauce they gave me with it made it worse. I then ordered a pasta dish with chicken and sausage. The sausage seemed like the fake type you get on a pizza hut pizza and the sauce could have been from a can...not real taste to it. Lesson learned: Italian food is not an Alabama specialty. I don't know if there's any where better to go in town but I suggest you at least look.

The food is good never had a problem with the service, it is high priced , that keeps me from going as often as i would like

The food is just as wonderful as it can be!! BEST Italian restaurant EVER!!! The only downside is the very immodest clothing and how they don't ask smoking or non-smoking. Other than that, it's wonderful; they keep on drinks, bread, etc... And the entertainment on certain days is just magnificent! Very highly recommend!!!
