Smokey's Barbeque, Madison

Smokey's is FABULOUS! We had them cater an event on the Arsenal about two weeks ago and I can honestly say, when we do BBQ, it WILL be from Smokey's! Derrick was great and friendly and never haave I been to an event where no one complained about the food. Only bad thing was that there wasn't wnough to serve seconds to everyone! There was so much food and it was all delicious. I can't wait to plan our next BBQ function so that we can use them again. Thank you Smokey's and thank you Derrick for the wonderful food and terrific service!

Glad I went the second time. New to the area we were looking for bbq. We pulled into Smoky's parking lot and there was a noticeable lack of cars, as in no one was there, and it was around dinner time, so we decided that meant something and we went down the street to another place. Well last night we went to Smoky's and I am sorry we didn't do it the first time. Had a sampling of almost everything. Let me tell you I lived in Texas for over 25 years so I can be picky about bbq. Every meat was delicious, ribs were great (and I am usually overly picky with ribs), whole chicken was just right, and all the shredded meats (pork, beef, chicken) were moist and very tasty. I loved the slaw, took me back to Texas for a minute, potato salad is almost identical to what I make at home, try the 'hot' bbq sauce if you dare it is excellent, the sweet and white are good too. I sure wished they served sliced brisket as well as the shredded though, but that's about the only thing I can say negative. GREAT BBQ at Smoky's

The BBQ and sides are absolutely WONDERFUL! But better than that is the service. Derrick is FABULOUS to work with! He has catered many events for me and I have never worked with anyone as friendly and helpful as he is. I HIGHLY recommend them for any event you need food for.

Smokey's is the best. Not only the BBQ but the Brunswick stew and cornbread. Don't even think of looking anywhere else. Best food and value anywhere.

Two thumbs up. While looking for a BBQ restaurant to cater my Memorial Day cook out. Smokey's was last on my list. Being fairly new to this area I haven't tried any of the restaurants that were on my list prior to my search. And when I say I saved the best for last!!! The food was absolutely delicious. The pulled pork and beef was excellent. The ribs were so tender they were falling off the bones. And the potato salad reminded me of grandma's. Derrick was awesome to work with. He delivered everything just like I ordered it at exactly the time that I wanted it and the price was right too. Thank you Derrick for making my Memorial Day Celebration a hit. My guest are already asking when are going to do it again.

BIG SMOKEY'S FAN Today’s vendor at work was Smokey’s BBQ. The menu is either sandwiches or meat and two sides. Ahead of me were two soldiers. One soldier had filled his plate full of two sandwiches, extra meat, three sides, a roll, plus cornbread, and tea. He had also covered his sandwich in the toppings for the loaded baked potatoes. The poor Styrofoam plate couldn’t hold anymore food. The whole plate would have cost at least $15. The vendor started adding it all up and just went “$5”. Too nice!

My gosh! I have just discovered Smokey's. I have lived here all my life and the BBQ in Alabama is always dry and tasteless. Smokey's is pure heaven! I never dreamed I could find this kind of BBQ here.Fantastic!

I love the cornbread and the stew. Both are made from scratch.

If you like Texas BBQ, this is likely your only option to come close. There Beef BBQ is more Texas like than anything in town.
