Whitt's Barbecue, Decatur

My in-laws are from Alabama and South Carolina, I however am from Colorado. My mother-in-law took some of Whitts BBQ sauce and brought it here to Colorado and I could not get enough. Its a good thing whitts is over 2000 miles away as I would probably be 800lbs eating that everyday. Delicious!!!

This is how barbecue is supposed to be. My parents live in Decatur and we never go visit without a trip to Whitt's. We even had them freeze and bring one of their turkey breasts for Thanksgiving one year. It's so hard to explain to people not from North Alabama about how delicious this barbecue is. The pulled pork is the best I've ever had and I've lived all over the US. It's too bad people don't realize that pork (and chicken too for that matter) don't need sweet stick sauces to be good.

If you're looking for BBQ that taste great even without the sauce, Whitt's is the place! And the ribs fall right off the bone. I highly recommend it!!
