i met my husband at hogans its different from the gay bars i was used to, ha ha try and guess who, a bigger dance floor maybe all thats needed to make it better after being a dancer for the yhata yhata, its a little more cramped but has that sultry separated from atmosphere. im going to telllllll its a good place to kid around.
Decent place to hang out asside from the extremely rude and inconsiderate doorman that like to cause a scene... (Guy with the sleeve tat's) I highly recomend The Fox and the Hound bar and grill down the road though, very classy place...
We went to Hogan's for NYE 2008-09. There from 6pm until 2am. As usual, had a great time, except: For the number of people, they really, really need bigger restrooms for both men and women. The staff was excellent. Razzamuttaz was good, did notice a change in their music. Will def. go again, but, not on a holiday. A walkway between Hogan's and La Quinta Inn would be great.
Razz ma Tazz is the best house band around, and thats coming from another country. I'm sure if the band were to see this crazy chanuck they would be more than happy to find out that I would be back. Chris the electrician is the name and Kim Mitchell and Brian Adams is the game. I'm sure Henry(the drummer) Greg(lead guitar, and vocal), Mike (keyboardist and lead singer, plus late band) and Randy would all remember me if I were to show up. I'll tell you what, I'll be there for the 10 th anniversary.; If anyone gets this, let me know because I had a lot of in Alabama, and I was working, just imagine the fun when I'm on holidays
This is a very fun place to go!! I love it!! Take a group in and go sit with Tonya or Diana on the dance floor they are both great!!!;) The bands RAZZ MA TAZZ
& 911 are both great bands. The bar makes great drinks and the food is the best on 280. They have a big pool room with lots of pool tables and darts.
If you like a bar that is really crowded and you have to ask folks to move just so you walk, then this is the place for you! I don't do real well at places that are so crowded that I cannot feel like I'm breathing.
Now, I went once during the week and I found my experience enjoyable. The band was really good (even when the place is jam packed) and the ambiance was pleasant. I just don't make it a habit of going out on a Tuesday night.
I know alot of folks who go to Hogan's who thoroughly enjoy themselves. There is a very diverse age group and they have dancing and pool. (And of course the live band.)
