Wasted Potential- This restaurant has so much going for it that has been squandered by poor management. The service has always been excellent and it appears the food is of top quality. Unfortunately, the food is frequently overcooked. The shrimp were tough, the rice side dish had the consistency and taste of wallpaper glue. Other times, the food is prepared properly and served hot. Being originally from Maryland, it should be a crime to ruin good seafood. For the prices charged, I expect consistent quality and the food well prepared. If you expect this, skip Landry's.
