Hamburger Heaven, Irondale

The burgers are good, not by far the best I've tasted, but given the choice between a fast food burger and theirs, I would take it hands down. Tried the homemade choco cake, it was good also.

The hamburgers as excellent as are the milkshakes. Everything is made to order and is worth the 5-10 minute wait. Burgers are big and the shakes are made with real ingredients. My wife always gets the peanut butter and I get the banana. Definitely worth checking out.

I love this place...I once lived in Birmingham and frequented this establishment although it was a long way from where I worked and lived. It was always worth the drive. Some other co-workers and I would go to lunch there in the early 1990's. We have all gone our seperate ways, but one of the co-workers and I are still very close friends. When either of us pass any where near Birmingham, we go eat there and call to tease the other. LOL We talk about the good old days at Hamburger Heaven all the time...in fact, he wants to open a franchise in SC. I would love to have one in Chattanooga, TN, but not up for the type of lifestyle that would be required to make it successful. Enjoy...

it was cool, the waitresses got into a fight. free floor show i tell ya! of course this made my meal come a bit late, still the food quality was top notch. i suggest a gello pit, for whenever the gals get into a beef. sorry for the pun.

I'm on my way through Birmingham again this week and can't wait to eat at Hamburger Heaven. The best burger place in the U.S. The place was very busy and the service was great!

I just been released from the hospital and I couldn't wait to get to Hamburer Heaven. I am sending my daughter to the restaurant right now to pick up my order as I write this review. I have never had a hamburger from a restaurant like this before. It reminds me of hamburgers one cooks at home. The burgers are so big and juicy and fresh. I rather go to Hamburger Heaven instead of those other big chain hamburger restaurants. The service is always fantastic and very friendly. Hamburger Heaven hamburgers are HEAVENLY!!!!!!

Hamburgers and milkshakes are awesome! This is a highly recommended place to visit. The closest thing to the old mom & pop's diner you will find.
