We will not make a trip north (from Louisiana) without planning a stop at Johnny's Bar b Que in Cullman, AL. We make sure to stop on the way back to get a few pounds of pork and a jar of sauce to bring home. We've tried bar b que from CA to Mi to Fl, Johnny's is the best. Great old fashion cafe' atmosphere and friendly employees. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
Johnny's has the best bbq I've ever tried. If you are in the mood for bbq its definitely the place to go. Their barbecue stuffed potatoes are EXCELLENT!!! Definitely worthy of a try! Their barbecue is out of this world.
Now this is some Outstanding Barbecue. I love the Sauce here. They just started serving ribs and I love them too. My wife was Very impressed with the loaded baked potato too. Then of course there is the ice box pies. This is a very well kept secret with all of the great barbecue places around. Highly recommend it.
Best BBQ in town & just off interstate 65, exit 308, 3/4 mile left, on the left! If your hungry & in a hurry, just stop in. They have a drive thru & service/food is FAST!!! Inside dining is great also.
