Most of the time I visit Crawdaddy s in the evening.Today, I was invited to lunch today by a friend. The food was very delicious and the service quick and efficient. Drinks were kept filled and anything we wanted was brought to the table quickly. Delicious food, good service...what more could you want.
IDK why this place is rated 4+ stars , Crawdaddy's is awful. We went on a saturday night, I ordered the mahi salad - which was $15.95, and my mother ordered the crab stuffed portobello mushroom (appitizer) that was roughly $12. The mahi on my salad was chopped into 1/2 inch peices, over cooked and very salty... and there was only about 2 - 3 oz of it on the entire plate. The croutons on the salad were stale- when i told the waitress she simply walked away and avoided the table until were were ready for the check...no apology - it was RUDE. My mothers food was room temp, and the mushrooms were undercooked. She felt ill later that night from it. When we were not trying to choke down our food, i noticed the staff was milling about, watching the game on tv - and every customer in the place (about 3 tables) had a look of disgust and disappointment on their faces. I did get one good peice of experience Crawdaddy's that worth keeping, to never waste my money there agian. I will NEVER go back, NEVER recommend it and ALWAYS tell people how horrible it was. Dont go. It's as simple as that.
After reading some reviews me and my new wife decided to try Crawdaddys while in Jensen Beach on our honeymoon. We got Crawfish to share and it was AMAZING! Everything else was great too. Service was great and atmosphere was perfect. We're planning on going back this week!
I'm a huge seafood lover, and my boyfriend is not. I've always tried to get him to go to Crawdaddys with me, but he hasn't wanted to since he thought that seafood was mainly what they served. I finally talked him into it, and now he's mad I never took him there sooner! We started with the crawfish appetizer, and I convinced him to try some, and he loved them. I had to peel the crawfish for him, though, after he destroyed the first couple he tried. For our entrees, I got the Grilled rum soaked shrimp, and he got the Cajun grilled chicken pasta, and they were both amazing, though I couldn't get him to try any of mine. I tried his, and I know what I'll be getting the next time we go. We split a slice of their awesome Key Lime pie for desert, though neither of us had much room left. The great thing about Crawdaddys food is that it's just as good the next day, reheated, as it is fresh. My boyfriend's hooked now!
You wouldn't think a Cajun place would be a good place to go for steaks, since people tend to think of gumbo, crawfish, and jambalaya when they think of Cajun. Rethink any notions you might have, because Crawdaddy's New York Strip is out of this world, especially if you get it with some of their bacon wrapped scallops. Surf and Turf doesn't do that meal justice. As if the food wasn't a good enough reason to go there, the wait staff is amazingly friendly, and the live music keeps the place hopping all night. For live music on the Blvd, you basically have two choices: Crawdaddys and Mulligans. While Mulligans is a good place, I'd pick Crawdaddys any day of the week, no question.
I lived in Louisiana for a brief period when I was much younger. It’s been a long time since I’ve had really good Cajun food. When I heard about a Cajun place right here in town, I couldn’t believe my luck! I went to Crawdaddys a couple days later, and it brought me back to when I was a lot younger. I had the jambalaya pasta, except I got it with white rice instead of pasta, and a couple drinks. The food was incredible, and the drinks were nice and stiff. The price was pretty reasonable for a night out, too. I’ll definitely be going back, and bringing all my friends with me!
This restaurant has excellent food, clam chowder is the best I have ever had, crab cakes are excellent as well as the pasta and steaks. I have never had a bad meal there. Have a condo on the Island and this restaurant is on the top of my list!!
My husband and I visited Jensen Beach for a week and dined at Crawdaddy's twice. It was the best!!!! The service was excellent! The food was excellent (especially the Clam Chowder), and the band that played on Saturaday, Dec. 12, was also excellent!!! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!!!
