Norris's Famous Place for Ribs, Fort Pierce

When it's good, it's great. Fried veggie platter is startlingly huge so don't order it as an appetizer unless you have a group. Service is usually fast and friendly although it can get pretty crowded in there and that can slow things down. The baby backs and prime rib are excellent.

Went to Norris last night for 1st time in 9 years....plenty of food and service good but fish, oysters and fries done in old fat hence very dark and not very tasty. Will be a while b4 we try that place again.

So heres our story, This past Saturday, myself and four friends drove up to Ft. Pierce from Miami to watch one of our buddys who is a Jai alai player. After checking in to our hotel we asked a couple of folks where to go for dinner. Everyone said Norris's. We had to be at Jai Alai at 7:30. We get to Norris's at 7:00 to find a 25min wait. Panic sets in which was quickly calmed by one of Norris's Long Island Iced Teas. So I asked for the manager, Im pretty sure her name was Lori, hoping she can get us seated and out of there in enough time to go see our buddy play. So we quickly place our order with our waitress Hanna and explain that we were in a rush. Few minutes lated out come perhaps the best Prime Rib I have ever had, additionally we order Baby Back Ribs, Lobster Bites. Bottom Line...The Food was Great and the service exceptional. I would recommend Norris's anytime.

Personally Im a huge chicken wing fan. I feel Norris's has some of the best in town. Also cant go wrong with the Baby back ribs, if your coming to this resteraunt bring a little bit of money but it is well worth it.

I like Norris. I only get to visit perhaps once or twice a year, Have never been disappointed with what I have ordered.Always had fast friendly service. Those who give negative reviews, must be competitors, because Norris is a popular place to eat. It is doubtful if you become popular with poor food. I had the catfish and it was excellent, quality, quantity and price.

Valentines day 2012, dirty table was sent there by hostess, at 430pm, NOT crowded. Meal was good sauce lacked again, seems like they use what ever is sweet to make it up, be it grape jelly or apple jelly. But baby backs were very good, and the mrs shrimp, were the best hand breaded yet. I hope things change for being cleaner, and sauce has a recipe, not scratch and pour this and that in it... I did bring Sonnys barcue sauce but didn't use it, as sauce had some bite this trip.

great prime rib, always done to perfection ribs add to our order and can't finish our portions. they taste just as good at 10:00 o'clock at night for a snack.
