Mulligan's Restaurant, Jensen Beach

I have been to Mulligan's several times. Usually on motorcycle rides or after going to the beach or boating. The drinks & service are good. The atmosphere is awesome. The Seafood Bisque soup is awesome. The appitizer combo's are yuckie. The seafood Quesadilla is very good, but I did crunch on a small shrimp shell one time (I ordered this a few times untill this happened). Overall its a decent place. I reccommend using caution when ordering some things are real good & some are average to poor. My local friends & family tend to have the same opinion when I asked them about it.

In only a years time Mulligans has (in my opinion) gone from a great place to sit outside and enjoy food and beverage, to just plain bad.On my recent trip, the restaurant was dirty,the bar was sticky and after ordering 2 overpriced beers I watched the bartender take 2 used glasses sitting on the bar swish them once in the sink and give them to 2 other patrons.I realize that we just had a hurricane come through and maybe things aren't as good as they could be but after seeing that we decided not to order food and left.I always believe in giving places a second chance and I only hope that my next visit will not be my last.

It was bad!! The food was ok. There were 7 of us. One ordered linguini with clams. One of the clams was black with mud, very gross (not cleaned properly). We showed it to the waitress and she thought it was gross also and did apologize. She asked if we wanted another meal. We said yes. Most of us had finished our dinners, when the new dinner came. When the bill of 130.00 dollars came, we were surprised that were was no compensation. We asked to see the manger, Debbie, a large dark haired woman. She did not seem to care. She could have at least pretended to care when a customer is dissatisfied. She acted like we should be grateful that she replaced the meal. We did not want a free meal. But thought maybe a glass of wine or desert on the house would be good customer services. We will not return and will tell our friends. Previously we had been there with a party of six and waited an hour for a table. We saw many tables open up and fillup with people, who obviously came as much as an hour after us. We complained to the same manager, who said that it was busy and would not set up a table for six unless two tables were free next to each other at the same time. She did not apologize for the wait and we left.

Ate there Sunday in the afternoon. Food was average which we expected. Pricy for the quality. Our waiter was exceptionally slow. People that arrived after us received their food much faster. Good place to hang out, and eat lunch if your not a food snob.
