Catfish Place Rstrnt-St Cloud, St Cloud

Husband & I stopped in on our way back home from somewhere else. Wouldn t have given this place a second glance, (totally unattractive from the outside), but the parking lot was crammed with cars - generally a good sign for a local eatery. The interior is a well-worn Florida fish camp theme, and the majority of the clientele are on a first name basis with the staff. The staff was polite and efficient in a most pleasant southern drawl kind of way. My husband and I both ordered fish, huge portions, which were fresh and delicious. We had a great experience and when we re in the area again, and in the mood for fish, will not hesitante to stop for more.

Great food at a super-low price. The snapper was the best I've ever had. We liked The Catfish Place so much that we returned two additional times while in the area. Will definitely go back the next time we're in the area.

If you are looking for a place to have fish... This is the only place to go in the area. Every one of our dishes served was fresh, local fish and perfectly cooked. The flavors were great and the portions very generous. The bill was very reasonable and we had prompt and courteous service. You can't ask for more out of a casual dining experience.

great food and sides, you will no be hungry. order the catfish, shrimp with a side of huspussies. the waitress will tell you they come with the order but 3 is not enough.

An excellent seafood spot that does a great job making other food also. In a very casual atmosphere the food is served in a similar fashion. Seating can be tough during busy hours and that is often. The wait is well worth it for the food served. Their specialty catfish is the best. We've eaten there very often and had a wide variety of food. Other highlights are fried chicken, the grilled porkchop and specifically the grits.

This place is friendly. The food is awesome and you have a good variety. Well worth going to. Check it out!

My family meets there at least once a month and we enjoy it everytime. The scallops and gator tail are great. A server there actually gave my Grandfather the shirt of her back :). Great food, great service, friendly faces!

I am a avid fish eater and was not disappointed at all with the catfish place. it seemed as if they were trying to turn the recipes into gold, because trying to compare it with something that's where it would have to be. golden

The place to eat and relax. The service is beyond the best and meal will have you coming back often.

We love their red snapper. I like the broiled best, with melted butter to dip it in! Their home fries are great; ask for them with onions. Their cole slaw is as good as it gets.
