After mentioning this place to my sometimes hard to please mother, I was immediately worried. I had really enjoyed my first visit and didn't want a botched visit for my mother's birthday party to ruin it. I should not have been worried. The hibachi offered selections for everyone, a picky teenager, an XL eater, a two-year-old, two seafood lovers, and one birthday girl who is deathly allergic to seafood. The hot saki was excellent, we got our shrimp & lobster, my eye-rolling nephew was happy and the birthday girl didn't go into anaphylactic shock. The chef was personable, funny, and showed just the right amount of (ir)reverence.
Hands down the best Japanese Steakhouse's around. I live in Citrus County so it's hard to find good places to eat, as we don't have much to choose from. I would endure the hour and 30 minute drive to this place anytime for an awesome meal. We had the Hibachi Lunch Special. I think it was around $9 a person!!!! That included everything but your drink and tip. I did however find out that your server splits the tip with the Hibachi chef so try and tip hefty. It's definitely worth it. Great Food, Great Service, Great Prices!! What more could you ask for???? :)
Ginza is our favorite! There is no other place in town(between St.Cloud and Orlando) that does suhsi like they do. The price, their happy hour, presentation, freshness, and service is AWESOME! We've been to Amura's , Sisho,Tokyo sushi, you name it. The only place that even comes close is Kimono's at the Swan hotel, and that comes with a HEFTY $$$ tag. So support Ginza, you will NOT be disapointed. P.S. their Bento Boxes for lunch are great too! Enjoy!
Since moving from NY we have been searching for a great Sushi restaurant and I have finally found it. Generous portions and reasonable prices (as far as sushi bars go). We also tried the hibachi grill and found it good, but typical. The only problem I had was that the AC was on too high!
My family and I had an excellent experience. We had been there when it first opened, not been really impressed. So we decided to give it one more try, the result was fantastic, made possible by our chef Lee. The food has really improved. We eat Japanese about once a week and the place first on our list will be Ginza.
