Description

Enjoy sizzling dishes at this restaurant that is filled with Old West memorabilia such as a mounted Buffalo head, a model train, and many antique supply store signs. Wooden floors and a large concrete rock waterfall also enhance the Wild West atmosphere. The main fare offered is steaks and seafood and the meals are hearty and large in keeping with the Western theme. Two 18 hole golf courses extending for three stories sit atop the restaurant for you to enjoy. They are open daily for lunch and dinner.

A "Must Do"

I have been going to this restaurant since about 1995/6 (approx.) and I've never been disappointed with the food or service. My kids think it is fantastic and they can be REALLY fussy. Steaks are great, and the Corn bread is superb. Key Lime pie is not to be sniffed at either I've bought a house out there now so we're out pretty regularly and at least 2 days out of any week we go to Magic Mining to eat.

Wow, what good value!

Having visited this restaurant on one trip to Orlando, we had to go again on our next visit. The food is excellent, the portions are huge ... it is great value for money. Oh, and the cocktails go down very nicely!

Tried to relive the past

We went back to the place we had dinner before we were married. The place looked run down and the food was sub-par. The host or whatever he called himself was not very polite. We over heard him mocking us about a table he refused to give us. The only bright spot in the night was our server Peck!! He was great with the kids and gave us some great tips on sites to vist.

Great Food Great for Kids

We returned to this restaurant after a bad experience here 7 years ago and it was a wonderful surprise. The children were kept entertained by the train set and endless pens and paper. The waiters were more than helpful and the food was excellent. We went here for dinner almost every night and although basic inside, the overall dining experience could not be faulted and great value for money.

our January Trip

We always eat at this restaurant everytime we are down in Orlando. The steaks melt in your mouth, and the other food is nothing short of spectacular in my opinion. I recommend this place to everyone who is down in the Orlando area.

Would never go back again.

We chose this restaurant for a late dinner on Dec. 26th 2004. We had a 10% off coupon which we presented to our waitress before we ordered. The result was extremely slow service with an attitude. We waited 15-20 minutes for our appetizer even though it was very empty in the restaurant. Then we had to ask for our salads to be brought out. The final insult was an overcharge on our bill of over $10 for something we didn't order. Definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant and won't be going back.

Great food great atmosphere great service!!

We always visit this restaurant while we are in Orlando and it is still consistently good. My daughter has severe food allergies and has had some bad experiences in some restaurants in orlando/Kissimme. Now she only feels safe eating here, which is a pain when we would like to try other places but after eating we are always happy :)and my daughter enjoys her meal every time. The staff are on first name terms now and remember us a year later ..

Surprisingly good!

We were skeptical about this restaurant because of its being under a fake mountain topped by two miniature golf courses and next to a tacky gift shop. But my teenage daughter insisted it looked fun, so we tried it in June, 2003. Inside is very casual but comfortable. We had a booth in the back, and it seemed fairly private. We didn't expect the food to be so good in such a casual restaurant. We had beautiful lean steaks, very tender. Service was very efficient and friendly. We will certainly return the next time in Orlando.
